Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data LINAI collects through linai.eu, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are. We keep it short because we collect little: there is no analytics, no advertising and no tracking on this site.
Who we are
LINAI (“we”, “us”) runs linai.eu and is responsible for the personal data described here. For any question about this policy or your data, e-mail [email protected].
What we collect
- When you use the contact form: your name, company, e-mail address, the role you choose, the spare capacity you give and your message.
- When you e-mail us: your e-mail address and what you write.
- When you visit: our hosting and network providers process your IP address, browser type, the page you ask for and the time, to deliver the site and keep it secure. Our server also holds your IP address in memory for at most 10 minutes, to limit how many messages one address can send.
We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, social media plugins or third-party fonts, and we do not build profiles.
Why we use it, and on what basis
- To answer your message and discuss working together: steps you ask for before a possible contract (article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries (article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To run the website and protect it against abuse and spam: our legitimate interest in a secure, available site (article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
How long we keep it
- Contact messages and e-mail: as long as we need them to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact, unless a business relationship or a legal obligation requires longer.
- Request logs at our hosting and network providers: deleted automatically after a limited period, at most 90 days.
- The IP address used to limit messages: in memory only, at most 10 minutes.
Who processes it for us
We use a few service providers that process data on our behalf and only on our instructions:
- Railway, which hosts the website on servers in the European Union.
- Cloudflare, which provides our DNS, delivers the site and protects it against attacks.
- Resend, which delivers the contact form messages to our mailbox by e-mail.
- Our e-mail provider, which hosts the [email protected] mailbox.
We do not sell personal data and share it with no one else, unless the law requires us to.
Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Railway, Cloudflare and Resend are companies based in the United States and may process some data there. Where they do, the transfer relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. E-mail [email protected]; we reply within one month. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or to the authority in your own country.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only, collects as little as possible and keeps access to the data limited to the people who need it.

Changes
We update this policy when what we do changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
